there are three reasons why i wanted to dedicate a post to the person in the picture:
- once when i was stuck with the responsibility of finding people for a certain camp and nobody could do the camp with me, she didn't abandon me. i didn't even have to beg her! she willingly went with me.
- at 12midnight on a particular day, she sent me an email titled "welfare econs stuff" containing a file. thinking it was project related, i downloaded it. and to my surprise, it was a piano piece that she played and recorded (and chanted too! haha). you won't believe how touched i was.
- and just when i thought i would be spending my grad trip alone, she was the first who said she would join me! now i don't have to be as worried about getting lost and staying in hotel rooms alone (for half of it at least!).

okay, whole story. i went out of the room and the staircase area was dark. then i felt something squishy under my foot. there was some light from the room, so i could see something wriggling. i was wondering if it was a worm or smt. then i switched on the staircase light and saw that it was a lizard's tail.
ARGH.

noooooooo. my grandma sealed up the mousehole and refuses to undo it. so the mouse hasnt been seen in at least a week. she's convinced that it went to someone else's house already.
